This week I got to work with a social media team for one day. The team is responsible for Prisma, Sokos and Emotion Facebook and Instagram updates, and consists of two girls, Lilli and Essi, who are both students, and a few years older than me.
The day I was working with them we were at Lilli's place taking photos for an advent calendar. The idea is that from on the 1st of December there is one or a few products on sale each day, and the products on sale are advertised on social media (if I understood correctly, especially on Instagram).
Since this was my first time doing a photo shoot like this, I was mostly just observing, but I did take a few pictures (which I unfortunately cannot publish here yet).

What I had to take into consideration when photographing the products?
- brand should be visible
- the picture has to work as a square picture on Instagram
- general aesthetics

It felt good to work with people closer to my age. Although the job was quite simple, having never done something like social media photography for a massive company, I suddenly lost all confidence in my skills in anything. Hopefully I will get to show what I can do in December when I will be working more with social media!

On Tuesday I attended the usual weekly meeting at Bond, and uploaded pictures onto the company's photo library. The most of the rest of the week I spent going through the rest of the pictures and writing analysis on the shops I visited.

I'm afraid I haven't got any pictures or new words from this week, since I didn't do much other than sitting by the desk or at meetings, and the photos from the advent calendar photo shoot have to wait until the calendar is published.

Until next week!
